Neurostimulation

Small, highly specialized devices generate mild electrical pulses that are then delivered to the nerve(s) causing pain. The electricity “stimulates” the nerves, which can either mask pain signals before they reach the brain, or restore muscular control and spinal stability. The result is sustained, drug-free pain relief.

These neurostimulation devices are generally implanted beneath the skin, where they can safely and effectively provide pain relief for years, and in some cases even an entire lifetime.

Neurostimulation does not utilize any medications and can provide the same level of pain relief as opioids without any of the associated risks like addiction, tolerance, or overdose.
