Twin Cities Pain Clinic Welcomes Samantha Lahr, PA-C
Twin Cities Pain Clinic is very proud to introduce the newest member of our provider team, Samantha Lahr! Samantha is a Certified Physician Assistant serving patients at our clinic in Edina, MN.
A Bit About Samantha
Samantha’s journey to joining the Twin Cities Pain Clinic team has been a unique and memorable one. A Minnesota native, she went to the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience. She was also a member of the campus neuroscience club and inducted into the National Honor Society in neuroscience. She then went on to earn her Master’s degree in physician assistant medicine from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN.
The next couple years saw Samantha gain experience caring for a wide variety of patients. She got her career started treating older adults as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Presbyterian Homes & Services. She then went on to join Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota as a Clinical Support Associate, providing professional and caring support to pediatric patients on the Neuroscience/Medical Surgical Unit.
The TCPC Tie-In
This is where things get especially interesting. Samantha’s next career stop was none other than Twin Cities Pain Clinic! Samantha joined our team in December of 2016, where she spent two years as a clinical assistant and medical scribe. After gaining loads of incredible experience, Samantha departed TCPC to earn her Physician Assistant Certification, which she obtained in 2022.
And what do you know? After more than three years apart, Samantha’s path lead her back to Twin Cities Pain Clinic, where she now sees patients as one of our incredibly talented Advanced Practice Providers!
OUTSIDE THE CLINIC: When not providing top notch patient care, Samantha enjoys pursuing several very “Minnesotan” hobbies. They include hiking, camping, sailing on Lake Superior, cross-country skiing, reading, and playing board games with family.
We are thrilled to welcome Samantha (back) to the Twin Cities Pain Clinic family and are excited to see her use her considerable skills and experience to provide the best possible patient care.
