Twin Cities Pain Clinic Welcomes Andrew Pisansky MD, MS
Allow us to introduce the newest member of the Twin Cities Pain Clinic physician team, Dr. Andrew Pisansky! Dr. Pisansky is an experienced pain medicine expert who will provide our patients with the latest and greatest pain management treatments and procedures.
A Bit About Dr. Pisansky
Dr. Pisansky earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Macalester College in St. Paul, his Master of Science in health services research from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and his Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He then completed his residency and fellowship training at the Harvard Medical School, Brigham, and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. During his time at Harvard, he became the Chief Resident.
As a fully fledged physician, Dr. Pisansky is certified in both Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
As for his extracurriculars, Dr. Pisansky is heavily involved with the Spine Intervention Society. He serves as an Evidence Analysis Committee Member and Technical Manual Author, and he is the Associate Editor of the organization’s official journal, Interventional Pain Medicine.
Welcome to Twin Cities Pain Clinic!
Dr. Pisansky comes to us from Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN, where he served in the Department of Anesthesiology. His clinical interests include interventional pain management, particularly advanced therapies for spine and sacroiliac pain, spinal cord stimulation and dorsal root ganglion stimulation, and clinical research in pain medicine.
When not seeing patients, you can find Dr. Pisansky golfing, distance running, playing tennis, downhill and cross-country skiing, and playing guitar.
Dr. Pisansky is an exceptionally talented professional and all around great person. We are tremendously excited to welcome him to our team and he is looking forward to meeting and serving our patients.
